Well since we were mostly soldiers that worked for the United Kingdom, we used all of the same technology that they used. For example, in battle, we used what was the beginning stage of modern rifles. They were invented in order to take the place of the inaccurate musket. Due to British imperialism, we were introduced to things like the telegraph. The British Industrial Revolution also affected the technology that we could use but regardless of what we used, it all came from Great Britain.
Culture
We were all natives of India, but we were soldiers for European powers that were our allies but we almost always served Great Britain. As a matter of fact, the term sepoy, was specifically used in the British Indian Army and before that, the East India Company. We were the people who intially started the Indian Rebellion of 1857 or simply, the Sepoy Mutiny. We were upset that the British were using fat from both cows and pigs, which were very important in our respective religions of Hinduism and Islam, so we revolted against them to fight this cause.
Religion
We were either Muslim or Hindu. We joined together in the rebellion because the British were using animals in ways that each of our religions felt was unjust.

Blog Entry One: Today is the day, May 10th, 1857. We will not let this go on any longer. It is one thing to criticize us as people, but it is taken to a whole new level when our religion is criticzed. It is time to put an end to what the British have been getting away with. No animals deserve what is happening to those pigs and cows and we are going to fight the British til the bitter end in order to stop this from happening.
Blog Entry Two: March 29th, 1957. My name is Mangal Pandey. I will no longer allow my religion to be humiliated by the people who claim to be doing us a favor. Today, in memory of the fallen animals, I am going to kill my commander because I want to prove a point that these British actions will no longer be tolerated by the Muslim and Hindu people. Everyone else has stepped back and let this go on. I am going to be the one to take action and lead this rebellion against the British and what they are doing to our sacred animals, the pigs and the cows.
Blog Entry Three: Hello, I'm about to tell you what I do everyday as a Sepoy. Basically, we are all stationed throughout Indian cities controlled by the British. We are always supposed to be prepared to fight. As a matter of fact that pretty much is our only job. We are the infantry in the British Indian Army and we are supposed to be helping the British militarily in any way possible. We get all the same technology for battle as the British do but we obviously do not share the same rights. This is the life of a sepoy in the British Indian Army in a nutshell.
